What We Are Looking For

Neverfail is looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer who is highly skilled in cloud and stack security, with a special focus on PAAS and containerized application security. You will be responsible for support, maintenance, optimizing, and automating security controls and processes to improve operational efficiency.

Always on the bleeding edge of security and technology developments, the DevSecOps Engineer collaborates with developers, users, and vendors to provide best in breed security solutions. You will also work across various IT functional areas to develop strategic implementation plans for information systems security.

Job Description

  • Support existing infrastructure and applications stack and automate the process to improve the overall efficiency.

  • Improve operational performance on existing platform- upstream and downstream applications and provide end to end hardware management and distributed systems support.

  • Monitor and diagnose the system's health and fix the issues and make sure operations are running without any problems/issues to support the development and deliverables of the applications.

  • Provide feedback to development and other project teams to improve security of the systems and efficiency of operational processes.

  • Provide Escalation support as required.

  • Develop automated health checks and monitoring systems.

  • Ensure CI/CD pipeline remains optimized and operational.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experienced in design, implement entire software stacks that include application and system layers.

  • Experience in Application (Software & Hardware) support and troubleshooting.

  • Experience in Amazon Web Services Ecosystem (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, ECS, Cloud Watch).

  • Expertise with Kubernetes, troubleshooting & building application stacks.

  • Experience with Ansible, Bash/Shell/PowerShell.

  • Experience with cloud, container security, and PKI would be a plus.

  • Experience with Github Actions.

  • IDS technologies (Auth0, OpenID, SAML).

  • Experience with Splunk or Sumologic.

  • Experience of PAM with AWS Secrets and Hashicorp Vault.

  • Able to work in an efficient operations environment and support on various critical tasks in a large complex distributed system.

Preferred Skills

  • Docker: with a solid understanding of the entire container lifecycle.

  • Experience in RHEL6/7 or other CentOS flavored system automation & Bash/Shell.

  • Should have prior experience working on configuration and maintenance of any systems.

  • Should possess very strong communication (Verbal and Written) skills.
