Neverfail is looking for a reliable and meticulous Junior Connector Developer, to join our challenging development team in our new Costa Rica office.
Job Description
Build and create standalone Node.js (Possibly Java) connectors, utilizing public REST API architectures and private application specific API's.
Manage collector routine in Node.js for infrastructure data, utilizing PostgreSQL.
Build swagger documents and new REST API's using OpenAPI standard implementation.
Work tasks that are assigned quickly with quick turn around expected, using agile short one week sprints or Kanban.
Learn and maintain some existing Neverfail products that are in stable production setting and review daily events on production.
Work with Product Owner and Operations Teams to continually expand and modify the capabilities of Neverfail IMS and Connectors.
Create and maintain Collector script to various data sources using node.js and SQL.
Maintain/Fix modules within IMS.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge of node.js.
Knowledge of SQL and postgress sql.
Knowledge of REST API.
Knowledge of HTTP, Swagger, npm, Open API, and API gateway work.
Version control systems – Bitbucket, Git.
Familiar with CI/CD.
Basic Linux/Windows skills.
Candidate must have basic OOP knowledge.
Candidate must be organized and analytical, adapt to working in a team environment, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.
Candidate must be willing to change technologies when the product requires it.
Candidate must be willing to do code reviews and pair programming.
