Configure WIQ File Team Feature (AWS & Azure)

AWS ONLY - Adding a File Feature to the WIQ 'IT' Team

(SCROLL DOWN FOR AZURE INSTRUCTIONS)

Visit the WIQ website and add a Team Storage Feature for the IT team using the newly-provisioned S3 bucket, which should be named like
(customer name) + "-neverfail-s3-evidence-repository-1.”

  1. From the WIQ UI home page (https://prod.neverfail.com/), go to Connections.

  1. Then select "+ ADD CONNECTION".

  1. Driver =Select your driver (AWS S3 in this case).

  2. Name = Create an arbitrary name but consider something like “IT Team Storage”.

  3. Input access key and secret access key, then click Save.



  1. Validate the connection (green indicators).



  1. Go to your WIQ Home page, then select Teams.




  2. Select the Add Files "+ icon.


  1. In the Add File Configuration screen:

    • Select Driver = AWS or Azure (as applicable).

    • Select Connection = New connection created.

    • Bucket = (customer name) + "-neverfail-s3-evidence-repository-1".
      (Example: testname-neverfail-s3-evidence-repository-1)

    • Region = This variable is located in the browser address bar (“us-east-2” for example), of your AWS Management Console home page.

  1. When finished, click Next.



  • "REGION" NOTE: Refer to this AWS Console screenshot for help locating the "Region" variable.

    1. This next screen will indicate that a test file was created in your configured file team feature.

      2. Click Next to proceed.

    1. Test summary page will appear and you're Done.

    Azure ONLY - Adding a File Feature to the WIQ 'IT' Team

    Visit the WIQ website and add a Team Storage Feature for the IT team using the newly-provisioned Azure storage blob container.

    Retrieving Azure Container Connection String

    Review your storage accounts in the Azure portal, then click on the one with a label name beginning with your (customer name) + “evidencesa1".

    1. Under Settings, select Access keys. Your account access keys appear, as well as the complete connection string for each key.

    2. Find the Connection string value under key1, and click the Copy button to copy the connection string.

    Adding Files Feature to WIQ

    1. In WIQ UI (https://prod.neverfail.com/), go to Connections, then click + ADD CONNECTION.

    1. Driver = Select your driver (Azure storage in this example).

    2. Name = An arbitrary name but consider something like “IT Team Storage".

    3. Connection string = Connection string copied above, then click Save.



    1. Test the connection.



    1. Go to your WIQ Home page, then select Teams.




    2. Select the Add Files "+ icon.

    1. In the Add Files Configuration page:

      • Select Driver = AWS or Azure (as applicable).

      • Select Connection = New connection created.

      • Container = (customer name) + "-neverfail-azure-evidence-repository-1".

    2. When finished, click Next.

    1. This next screen will indicate that a test file was created in your configured file team feature.

      2. Click Next to proceed.








    2. Test summary page will appear and you're Done.
